Terms and Conditions
Rates include:
- Full Insurance with NO EXCESS.
- Vechicle theft protection with NO EXCESS(Not contents).
- 24/7 Road Assistance.
- Unlimited mileage.
- Free delivery/Collection for rentals over 5 days (except Airport).
- Maintenance, oil and greasing.
- All Local Taxes.
- V.A.T. 15%.
Rates Exclude:
- Fuel. A deposit is payable for a full tank and is refundable if the car is returned with a full tank.
- 24/7 On airport delivery charge @ € 15.
- Damage to tyres, windscreen and underbody. Optional Coverage Available(T.W.U.) @ € 3 per day.
- Personal accident insurance for drivers. Optional coverage. Available (P.A.I.) @ € 2 per day per Driver.
- Young drivers surcharge for drivers under 25 years old with less than 3 years full license.
- One way drop off charges for rentals under 6 days.
- Child seats. Available @ € 15 per rental each
- Booster seats. Available @ € 15 per rental each
- Navigation Systems (GPS). Available @ € 6 per day (Min. charge= €36 - Max. Charge=€96).
Long Term Rentals:
Special rates are available for long term rentals on request.
Driving License:
Drivers must be in possession of a valid national or international license for at least one year.
Drivers Age:
Minimum age 21 years. Drivers under 25 years of age must hold a driving license of at least 3 years. Drivers over 21 but under 25 years of age who hold a driving license of less than 3 years can obtain the right to drive the vehicle on request at an additional fee.
Maximum age 70 years. Drivers over 70 years with full valid driving licence can obtain the right to drive the vehicle but advise their date of birth at time of booking in order to arrange special insurance coverage at no extra cost.
Car Type:
Cars on display are examples only. The right is reserved to substitute alternative cars of similar or upgraded type (at no extra cost).
Credit Cards:
All major credit cars are accepted.
Fuel policy:
A deposit is payable for a full tank of fuel and is refunded if the car is returned with a full tank.
One Way:
Available. For rentals under 6 days there is a drop off charge.
Special Requests:
Child Seats, booster seats, roof racks, navigation systems and other additional items may be provided on request at an extra cost.
Out of hours service:
24/7 Available
Road Assistance:
Available 24/7. A 24hr telephone number can be found on the rental agreement and/or Key rings.
Cancellations/Amendments:
Cancellations and/or amendments must be made prior to the rental pick up date.
Crossing to the Turkish Occupied Areas of Cyprus:
Additional insurance cover is required, e-mail us for further information.
Currency:
Euro is the official Cyprus Currency. The Euro rates displayed at quotation stage of the reservation process is exactly what is charged. When you change the currency on this site, the values given are indicative.
Rates:
Prime for rental reserves the right to amend rates without notice. Rates quoted at time of firm reservations are quaranteed.
Minimum Charge:
The Minimum charge is 2 days rental cost.
Traffic Fines:
All traffic fines incurred during the rental period are the renter's resposibility.
Advance Deposite:
Prime Car Rentals reserves the right to require an advance security deposit for reservations on some car categories.
Genaral Conditions:
All rentals are subject to the standard terms and conditions printed on the rental terms.
